It's beautiful, residential, and undiscovered by the average tourist. No crowds, very tranquil, and yet, you are only 20 min. from the airport via the H-3 Freeway. Kailua Beach is rated the best beach in the US and it's easy to see why. It is beautiful long stretch of uncrowded white sand beach. It has a moderate surf, great for a refreshing swim or a ride on a boogie board.
